Split Specimen Testing

Split specimen testing is required under DOT regulations (49 CFR Part 40). LGTC offers drug testing for commonly abused substances as well as other testable drugs. Our laboratories are SAMHSA-certified. Employers must follow strict guidelines to maintain the chain of custody and ensure sample integrity. Oral/Fluid Drug Testing

Oral fluid testing is advantageous as the donor cannot easily adulterate the specimen. Drugs can be detected within 2 hours of use and up to 48 hours afterward. Evidential Breath Tester (EBT)

An Evidential Breath Tester (EBT) is a device used to measure a person's blood alcohol concentration (BAC) from a breath sample. The donor blows into a breathalyzer and the results are given as a number, known as the Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) which shows the level of alcohol in the blood at the time of the test.
